Design Engineer (m/f/d) - Mechanical / Plant Engineering

As an established, medium-sized family business based in Murrtal near Backnang, we have been involved in the project planning, design, manufacture and assembly of conveyor systems through to the production of special machines for over 50 years.

your job:

independent design of complex assemblies and components in plant and special machine construction
coordination with production and assembly with the aim of a simple and cost-optimized design
analytical dimensioning of components (strength design, etc.)
compliance with cost, function and deadline targets
participation in the creation of design guidelines
designing and implementing necessary changes and improvements in existing assemblies and machines
carrying out design reviews and technical exchange within the team
partial creation of layout plans with prior dimensional measurements

your profile:

successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering
several years of design experience, preferably in mechanical/plant engineering
good knowledge of 2D/3D CAD and familiarity with a modern ERP system
strong team and communication skills
goal-oriented, consistent and independent way of working
strong commitment and willingness to work in a team
very good knowledge of German (min. C2)
good written and spoken English skills
